About Gituamba (A) Community Health Volunteers C.B.O.

Mission

To promote the health and wellbeing of Gituamba and the wider Kasarani community through volunteer-based health education, disease prevention, and linkage between households and health facilities.

Vision

A healthy, informed Gituamba community where every household has access to basic health information, preventive care and timely referral to health services.

Registered with the Department of Social Development. Registration No. KAS/CBO/5/4/2021/762, Certificate No. 03079, registered 27 April 2021. Our constitution was adopted on 10 April 2021.

Governance

Our constitution provides for a General Assembly, an Executive Committee and sub-committees. The organization is non-political, non-partisan, non-sectarian and not for personal profit.
